Out of all of the modern musicians that I truly love, Matty Nay has been one of few if not the only artist who has never disappointed me on any level ever. I cherish every record. Every live show. Every conversation. Every single one. I’ve watched him grow from Schubas to HOB to Summerfest to Late Night Television and enjoyed every minute of his slow and steady success.
So when he teams up with giant artists and steps on stage at arenas to make music videos of his songs with them, it makes me smile one of those super genuine proud smiles that you save for the people you love the most.
PS Jennifer Nettles, your outfit is impeccable and I’m totally in love with it.
